Hasan joined the Meaning, Culture and Cognition group within the Centre for Language Studies in April 2017. He is currently working on a cross-cultural project investigating the development of cross-modal associations.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Sciences, and a Master’s in Neuroscience & Cognition from Utrecht University. During and after his study, he was involved in many outstanding research projects focusing on the neural basis of learning and decision-making. Furthermore, he has experience in working with children and is especially interested in research focusing on (neuro)cognitive development.

Hasan is also a voluntary researcher in the neurocognition of bi- and multilingualism group at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior.
